We have lift-off…
We’re off again. Our seventh season is now well and truly underway – and things are looking good. Max reports that the weather so far has delivered some outstanding conditions for bonefishing, with winds predominantly from the north-east, 5 to 15 knots, and almost no clouds at all.
Our October guest list featured several fathers and sons, all of whom enjoyed some great fishing. Milo and Freddie Knatchbull from the UK, both aged 12, notched up their first-ever bonefish, along with plenty of barracuda, some horse-eye jacks and an array of sharks and snappers on fly and heavier metal.
Peter & Zeke Sieglaff from New York took some really nice bonefish on the outer edge of the Marls and had several shots at permit, while Charles & Barbara Renfrew from San Francisco started their week with 14 hook-ups, boating nine fish to 6lbs.
The annual bonefish migration, featuring large schools motoring down the west side of Abaco, is well underway. With wave after wave of bones beginning to be seen, head guide Donnie says we should encounter more and more every day through the end of December.
So don’t delay! There is still some space over coming weeks to get in on this extraordinary natural bonanza of fishing. And our prices remain just as they were last season.http://delphi-bahamas.
